Stop & Give Me 20 Podcast

The Stop and Give Me 20 Podcast features 20 minute interviews with some of the World's Top Fitness Professionals. Each show will start with their story of what led them into a fitness lifestyle; the spark that fueled their passion to help change lives through their fitness. It moves into the "Superhero Section", where the conversation moves into 1) Who their biggest influences were growing up and who their real life Superhero was. 2) Who their Superhero is now- who in the world they look up to and who they are trying to emulate, and 3) Who they want to be Superheros to with their message. We discuss their opinions on what is happening in the fitness industry, good and bad, and where they might think it’s going. We find out some of the books they are reading and seminars they are attending and what their takeaways are. At some point in the show we do the "Stop & Give Me 5" segment, and that’s basically 5 rapid fire questions (not always rapid fire answers). It’s a fun segment that we are really trying to make personal to them and so far we have had a good time with it. I finish each show with a "Letter to Your Younger Self", where guests are asked to give their younger self advice.

Welcome to the Stop & Give Me 20 Podcast

Interviews with the World's Top Fitness Professionals

This is our temporary home until we get the website up and running.

The Stop and Give Me 20 Podcast features 20 minute interviews with some of the World's Top Fitness Professionals.  Each show will start with their story of what led them into a fitness lifestyle; the spark that fueled their passion to help change lives through their fitness.

This is a basic overview of the what we will be doing here at Stop and Give Me 20.

I go over the format:

- What's their story? What was the spark that influenced them into the fitness lifestyle

- The Superhero Section

  • Who was their Superhero growing up- who influenced them the most to become the person they are
  • Who is their Superhero now- who are they looking up to and trying to emulate
  • Who are they trying to be a Superhero to- who are they looking to help with their business

- Industry Topics- I will ask them about the current state of the fitness industry, good and bad, and where do they think it's going. 

- Other topics that we might get to:

  • Books they are reading and seminars they are attending- what are the takeaways
  • Something we might not know about them
  • What might a training session look like

- The Stop & Give Me 5 segment- 5 Rapid Fire Questions and Answers

  • This is a fun section that I am trying to personalize as much as possible with questions that relate to some of their interests and background.  It breaks ups some of the seriousness of the conversation.

- The Letter to Your Younger Self- this is a time for my guests to reflect on some of the mistakes they might have made along the way, some things they would have done differently or maybe approached certain situations with a different mindset
